Celebrating 150 Years

Our family business was founded in 1875 as T&E Neville by brothers, Thomas and Edward. The brothers were builders, joiners and coffin makers in Luton during a time of exponential population growth in the region, and dedicated their professional lives serving, employing and supporting the local community. By 1881, the brothers had expanded their Castle Street premises and hired their first apprentice, Arthur Cawdell.

Since then, Neville Special Projects has progressed the legacy of the Neville brothers, building on the delivery of our services which offer a valuable opportunity to make a positive contribution to the communities in which we work. As a main contractor, we focus on commercial and public sector works, providing refurbishment, new build services and maintenance for clients across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire.

As a family business now working with the fifth and sixth generations of the founding family, we believe in leaving a positive legacy for the next generation through training, career development and charitable giving.

Over the course of 2025, we will be celebrating our history in Luton and beyond, sharing various events, activities and stories from across our Group of Companies.
